and fall to the ground very far below. Sometimes the turret will fall on him. When the dropship flies over and the other people with the shields
start shooting at it, go up behind them and throw a plasma grenade on his head. He will run around and explode. Sometimes, he will fly all the way
down to the ground below. Finally, when you get to the Banshees (flying alien vehicles) fly as high as you can. Then, floor it to the ground and hit
people on the ground. Press L to shoot missiles and R to shoot lasers. Also, you can fly as high as you can and jump out. You will fall for a while,
then hit the ground with a big "ch-wunk".

At the Halo start up screen, choose multiplayer mode. Choose cooperative play at the next screen, then choose your profiles at the next. Choose the
level where in the beginning it says, "I would have been your daddy" (Assault On The Control Room). On the difficulty screen, choose legendary. When
the level starts after the introduction sequence, have one of the players quickly press X when the "Press X to get on the Pelican" message appears.
That player will re-board the ship and start flying with it down the hole. The other player will quickly die because of the aliens, and will be
respawned on the spinning ring. Make sure to jump where there are gaps. If you are good enough, you can even jump to a nearby ledge. Additionally,
once you are respawned on the ring, quickly jump off and fall to your death. Sometimes you will be respawned on the lowest ledge in all the blue
haze, and a "Press X to flip the Pelican" will appear that the top of the screen very briefly.

Using a combination of assault, Shotgun, and grenades works best... Warning: Only use the [sticky] grenades at a far distance, especially for the
little ones. Shotgun - use on big floods, and little floods.
When those little guys, that jump up at you, are all grouped together use the shotgun, it shoots out a lot of bullets at a time (you can see
this if you shoot at a smooth wall, or the ground, you can see all the marks it makes). Use Assault rifle if the guy is standing still, if he or you
are moving too much it moves your aim very badly and you waste bullets and have to re-load more often and then they have a clear shot.
For the grenades use them when you know something is behind a wall. For sticky grenades you MUST ALWAYS REMEMBER to use them at a safe distance
because if you shoot it on one of those little guys that follow you you will get hurt bad too because of the blast that they brought with them, same
with the big guys. Don't use your grenades all at once. They are to important, and sometimes rarest when you need them.

Grunt, because he will run behind the rest of his companions. One simple grenade can take out five Covenants.

Do not try to take out any Flood types with a sniper rifle. It will simply go through their bodies without killing them. The weapon of choice is the
shotgun. You can take them down with one shot. Remember, the closer they are, the faster they fall. On the small crawling Flood, use your assault
rifle in short controlled bursts. Once one pops, it will also pop the ones nearby. Save shotgun and pistol ammunition for the working class Flood
to drop them fast. It is also a good idea to hit them with your gun after they fall to make sure they are dead. On the fat Flood, use the shotgun to
pop them, then clean up with rifle. When you first meet the Flood, they will outnumber you in groups. For the large Flood, use a shotgun, rocket
launcher, or most importantly, a fragmentation grenade. Do not use a plasma grenade because they will run towards you and kill you.

Normally Hunters are the hardest Covenant to kill, due to their powerful armor and shields. However, even the strongest armor has weak spots. If you
look at their necks or backs, you can see an orange spot. Aim for it. One shot with any gun will kill them if you hit them there. The best way to
kill a hunter is to use a sniper rifle to zoom in on the orange spot. If you are being chased by a Hunter or an alien with a sword, run backwards
while facing the alien. Jump when they try to slash you. Throw a plasma grenade at the alien and it will stick to him. Turn around and run in a
zig-zag pattern to make sure he does not catch you in the explosion. If you are playing cooperative multi-player mode, have player two run in front
of the Hunter until his back is turned to player one. While the Hunter is trying to turn player two into mush, have player one run up to the
Hunter's back and melee attack the orange spot. The Hunter should die with one hit. You can kill the Hunters in a head-on assault. Get in close and
use the pistol or shotgun. Aim for the head holding down the trigger. Your first shot(s) will knock back the head, exposing the unarmored neck. One
shot in the neck and they will die.

On the Assault on Control Room level. I found a cool shortcut. When you get to the rock bridge with two Banshees on it, walk as quickly as you can to
the left side of the bridge as close to the wall as possible and walk off. note DO NOT JUMP! If you jump you wil not survive the fall. If you want you
can shoot the nearest banshee off the ledge with a grenade, or a rocket and use it against the Wraith Tank. This cheat eliminates alot of enemies,

| Infinite Ammo Glitch // Halo: Combat Evolved Cheats |
I have only been able to do this trick on the Silent Cartographer Level, if you can get it to work on another level thats great. ok first of all you
need to be playing co-op with a friend. the easiest gun i know how to do this with is the rocket launcher. what you need to do is fire 1 rocket. (just
to get it so that you can manually reload) get to one of the parts in the game where the player thats behind the other is teleported to the player in
the lead, you must have the player without the rocket launcher ready right by the "teleporting point". now this takes timing and may take a few trys
but, have the rocket launcher reloading and about half way through it, have the other player teleport you. if you did this right the gun should mess
up in the reloading process and look realy weird until its done reloading. now the number of extra rockets that are not in the gun will never go down.
this trick will work with anything that needs to be reloaded. oh yea and do not manually reaload the rockt launcher or switch weapons or else the
glitch wont be active any more. the easiest place i know of in the level is the first corridoor on the way into the map room to activate the cheat.
too bad this cant be done on multiplayer...

in a clearing doing nothing. You can still kill him though. Another thing you can encounter by doing this cheat/glitch is invisible marines or you can
say floating assault rifles that can shoot. While your walking north of you after you get out of the ship, be looking for the structure you should
enter. When you find the structure, jump on top of it and turn around to where you're facing the hill you just came from. Run backwards and look into
the structure. You should see invisible marines shooting assault rifles. After a few seconds, they should disappear.

In Cooperative mod, in the level "Silent Cartographer," head to the area where you shut down the security. Once there, head to any edge, and look down
for a platform. FALL (Dont jump) and hit duck right before you land. Then allow you're partner to commit suicide by jumping all the way down. He will
respawn onto the platform you are on. Then your partner needs to look at the middle of the platform, and look down. He/she should see a small platform
down the line of the wall. Tell him/her to fall (once again, don't jump) down to it, and duck before he/she lands. Then, you commit suicide. You will
respawn where he/she is! Now, you look to the platform down below you, and repeat the fall process. Your friend commits suicide and will respawn with
you. Repeat this process down the platforms and the wall platforms. Once you reach the last platform, whoever just commited suicide should fall
towards the middle, and land on the middle platform. If you've done it right, admire the view above you and below you. If, on your way down, you or
your friend die while trying to make it to the next spot, whoever is still alive, wait for the other to respawn, and you can keep on trying! There
really is no cheat to this, its just an exploit and fun to do. Feel proud that you've went down the void you thought you would die if you jumped!
Note: This cannot be done on Singe Player, since you accumulate damage from doing the falls to the platforms, so you will eventually die.

persons screen will go white, after a few seconds they will die and it will say they have been tele fragged, then you teleport.(note:if your opponent
jumps before they die you will teleport.)

When you open the vents, instead of going to the bottom floor to destroy the engines, jump on the coupling that is moving away from the engine. From
there, destroy the engine. When the couplings start to pull back and reach the platform where the computer you pressed to pull the couplings back is
located, jump back on it. Note: You cannot make the jump if you are on the white part of the couplings. To make it, there is a brown part on the
very end of the couplings. You have to jump from that part to make it across.

There is a Grunt in the level that will give you a message. To get to him, go all the way past where the drop-ship is going to pick you up. About
three rooms after that, there will be a shortcut to your right. Go in it. In the middle will be two doors, to your left and right. Unlike the
shortcuts, the door to your right will be open. Enter it. At the end of the hallway, get out of the jeep and the Grunt will be there. He tells you
something that sounds like "It's a good thing there was food on this Starship cuz I worked up a big mighty thirst!"

Use the following trick to kill the two Hunters, the Sentinels and the Flood. When you are in the maintenance access ways, you will see a black
Grunt run from the Flood directly in front of you. Kill the Flood and turn left instead of going straight where the hunters are. Go where the Grunt
went. When you get there, the Grunt will be standing in the doorway. Kill him and you should be in an enclosed room with many dead bodies on the
ground. When you enter, turn to your right to find be some burning boxes. Go to them, and the Sentinels should be on the other side of the blast
door. Shoot the glass and the bullets should go through the door and hit the enemies on the other side. The glass should not break, so the enemies
cannot shoot you back.

Ok, this is fun. First, go to The Silent Cartographer and get to the part where you find an upturned Warthog in front of a foresty area (before you
get to the two Hunters in that metallish place) and be on multiplayer too. Kill all the Covenant in the forest and in that small path leading to the
Hunters, then take one of the Warthogs and try to get it past the tree blocking the path. Sometimes it slides right through like silk, but usually you
have to have your friend ram you from behind with the other warthog. Once you've gotten through, take the warthog and jam it in between a rock that's
right in the middle of the path near the top. Make sure it's turned on its side too. Then get you're buddy to stand on it at the highest spot, then
have him crouch. Jump on his head and tell him to stand then jump to an area on the side of the wall that's down a little, and voila! You're on the
very top of the island! You can look down on any groups of enemies that you haven't killed yet and take 'em out at your leisure. If you want, you can
kill your partner and let him respawn up there with you, but I recommend doing something far more enjoyable: The Warthog Jump! Ok let's just that
you're buddy is the one posted on top of the island. So before that both of you should have gone through the level and collected as many grenades as
possible, dropping them in one spot by killing eachother so the grenades fall into a big pile (I recommend the spot being right to the left opening of
that big arch you go through before the forest area. Just get as many grenades as you two can find (something like 20 or more), and pile 'em up. Then,
put your buddy on top of the island, drive the warthog on top of the grenades and get ready! You should first have a rocket launcher and an extra frag
grenade and the person on top should be in position looking down on you and the warthog. Let the person on top get a checkpoint to save this spot in
the game. Then you should either throw the frag under the warthog or aim at the grenades on the floor under with the rocket and shoot. This will cause
a GIGANTIC explosion, sending the warthog far into the wild blue! Make sure no one get's a checkpoint after the explosion cause then you can't revert
to saved to do it as many times as you want. Try variations! Put guys in the warthog before you blow it up, or put yourself in it! Or maybe move the
warthog so that the explosion sends it at different angles. My ultimate goal whenever I do this is to get the warthog to fly up on top of the island
where I am. This takes a lot of experimenting and testing and depends also on the amount of grenades you have. Just keep trying, cause when you do get
the warthog up there, it's sooo fun to drive around with your partner! Remember, semper fi and blow stuff up!

On a level where you can find a group of five or more marines (such as Assault On The Control Room), kill three marines quickly. The remaining
marines will call you a traitor (shouting things like "He's loco!") and will start firing at you. If you shoot them, sometimes they will ask you if
they owe you money or tell you to clean the mud off your visor.

At the start of the level, finish off the sentinals then go thru the door ahead of you. When you get inside there will be sents, and covenant. finish
them off, go to the door, open it, then go to the next one.DON'T open it yet and don't shoot. When you press the button the message "Press X to open
door" will still be there. Keep pressing the button in time with a second until you hear the door open. if done correctly the checkpoint won't save
and there will only be an elite and jackel outside. these are the only enemies in the canyon.
*Note: when this is activated, the pulse generator won't be on and you can't proceed to the next canyon untill you press the door button again

On Final Run clear the first area. On the second area take a left there will be a rocket launcher and a sniper rifle. They are at a tunelthat is
blocked by boulders. Jump on one of these and crawl through a space that is kind of hidden. Then follow the tunel. If you did this correctly there
will be no eniemes or any Banshees.
